The Norcadians are an advanced interstellar race whose homeworld is a Theta-Class planetoid with a population of 260 million in a binary star system, neighboring the Pendari system in the Delta Quadrant.
A popular form of entertainment among the Norcadians and other nearby systems is watching the Tsunkatse matches -- a violent form of martial arts.
The Borg designation for Norcadians is Species 689. A Norcadian girl named Mezoti was assimilated by the Borg, but was rescued by the U.S.S. Voyager after her Borg ship was disabled by a genetically engineered virus created by the Brunali.
