109.73 Meters / 360 ft (B`rel Frigate)- The popular length for this vessel. The B`rel was shown to be this length in ST6 - The Undiscovered Country, The Way of the Warrior. |
137 Meters (B`rel)- The IKS Rotarran was introduced in season 5 of Deep Space Nine. According to the VFX workers this vessel was scaled to 137 meters so that it would look comparable to the USS Defiant. The Rotarran has been seen in - Soldiers of the Empire, A Call to Arms, A Time to Stand, Sons and Daughters and most of the remaining Dominion War Arc episodes. The consistency of this scaling would suggest that this vessel is here to stay, at 137 meters. |
157.76 Meters (B`rel - Deep Space Nine Technical Manual) - The New official length for the B`rel. This vessel was also at one point during The Way of the Warrior shown to be approximatly this size. |
200-290 Meters (K`vort) - The K`vort Class Bird of Prey was seen on in TNG, this large Destroyer could be considered an aberration as it was created simply to be up to scale with the 642.5 Meter long Galaxy Class Enterprise D. However under canonical terms it must be recognised as a class of ship. This vessel was seen in Redemption Parts 1 & 2. This particular K'vort variant has fluctuated in length and no definite figure can be pinned down. However scenes from Redemption and Yesterdays Enterprise suggest a length of between 200-290 meters. |
678.36 Meters (K`vort - DS9 Technical Manual) - This K`vort was seen only in The Defector. It has not been shown in the primary scaling chart as it never actually never appeared in any major battle seqnence. |
