Federation Colony / Expedition Database - Omicron Theta Colony

	History:
	Omicron Theta. Planet. Location of a Federation science and farming colony devastated in 2336 by the mysterious Crystalline Entity. The colony was the site of a hidden laboratory at which Nonnien Soong, and his wife, Juliana, conducted advanced work in robotics. Together, they constructed five positronic androids, including Data and Lore. TNG "Inheritance" Just prior to the destruction of the colony, memories from all the colonists were stored in Data's positronic brain. Soong apparently escaped from the colony shortly thereafter. The crew of the Starship Tripoli discovered the android Data in 2338 at the remains of the colony. A second expedition in 2364 by an away team from the Enterprise-D (including Data) discovered the second android, Lore, at the colony site.
