| U.S.S. Bozeman | NCC-1941 |
|
Commanded by Captain Morgan Bateman. The Bozeman was three weeks out of its home
starbase when it disappeared near the Typhon Expanse in 2278, where it remained until 2368. During those 90 years, those aboard the
Bozeman experienced the passage of only a brief of time. Unknown to them experienced that same brief period over and over, ad
infinitum, until the loop was distrupted by the Enterprise-D, with which it nearly collided. TNG "Cause and Effect" The Bozeman was subsepuently recertified for Starfleet service. (During the anti-time occurrence created by the Q Continuum, Admiral Nakamura deployed the Bozeman, along with 15 other starships, to the Romulan Neutral zone to investigate a Romulan military buidup on their side of the zone.) TNG "All Good Things..." The Bozeman was required to make a minor course correction in 2371 after the Amargosa star's destruction altered gravitational forces in an entire sector. Star Trek Generations The Bozeman was later part of the Starfleet armada that intercepted a Borg ship at Earth on stardate 50893. Star Trek: First Contact Named for the city of Bozeman, Montana, hometown of "Cause and Effect" writer Brannon Braga, who also co-wrote "All Good Things...", Star Trek Generations, and Star Trek: First Contact. The registry number was an homage to Steven Spielberg's movie 1941, for which Star Trek model maker Greg Jein provided miniatures. Star Trek Encyclopedia II |
