	History:
	Small free-flying unpiloted instrument package used by Starfleet scientists for temote sensing studies. Microprobes measured only a few centimeters in diameter. In 2371, a microprobes launched by the Starship Voyager into a micro-wormhole became trapped in gravitational eddies within the wormhole.
