	History:
	Ensign Marla E. Finn served aboard the Silversides prior to transferring to the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. Probably named for the United States Navy submarine U.S.S. Silversides SS-236, which gained an impressive service record during World War II. (The ship sank thirty enemy vessels and damaged fourteen more.)
