Dominion supplies of ketracel-white in the Alpha Quadrant began to run short in early 2374 due to a Starfleet blockade of the Bajoran wormhole. Supplies became even more limited when a Starfleetteam commanded by Benjamin Sisko was successful destroying a major ketracel-white storage facility on Torga IV. (Cardassian Space)
