The large pincer-shaped vessel of a mysterious, predatory race that attacked an Axanar cargo vessel and drained its unfortunate crew of their triglobulin, a substance similar to lymphatic fluid in humans. When Enterprise investigated the drifting transport, they too almost fell prey. The powerful warship proved impervious to Enterprise's torpedos and disabled the starship's warp drive. An extending arm clamped onto Archer's ship and the aliens began to drill through the hull. It was only the intervention of an Axanar cruiser that saved them. The cruiser's superior firepower destroyed the predators' ship.
