Briam's mission was to attend the Ceremony of Reconciliation aboard the USS Enterprise. There he would seal the peace treaty between Krios and Valt with the marriage of Valtese Chancellor Alrik to the Kriosian empathic metamorph Kamala.
The carrier of the Kriosian ambassador Briam was of identical design to the Talarian vessel Q'maire.
