Klingon Early Bird-of-Prey

History:
A Klingon assault vessel that originates the design heritage of the 24th Century K'Vort and
B'rel-class ships. Although strikingly similar at first glance, the 22nd Century bird-of-prey it is clearly a different design. The
forward command hull is larger in camparison with the main hull and the wings are more slender with an additional curved forward area
extending from the hull. Two large propulsion units are mounted above the narrower radiator baffles. Disruptor arrays were mounted at
the end of the wings and below the main hull.
The disgraced Klingon captain Duras used such a craft to try to capture Archer in
2153, pursuing him into the Delphic Expanse. He concentrated all his shields forward to ward off Enterprise's new photon torpedoes
and was destroyed when the starship outmanoeuvred him and struck from the rear.
