History:
The vessel of the Kantare was of the same configuration as the Bajoran transport of over 200 years later.
Caught in an ion storm, Captain Kuulan realised that their only chance of survival was to crashland. Only the chief engineer Ezral and his baby daughter Liana survived the impact, however. Unable to rebuild the ship alone, he recreated the crew as holograms to help assuage their loneliness.
Some twenty years later, in 2151, they are discovered by the Enterprise crew. At first, Ezral is suspicious and hostile, but eventually agrees to allow Archer to provide the help needed to repair the ship and take Liana home.
