History:
Spacefaring Beta Quadrant humanoids distinguished by markings on their temples. In 2151 a derelict Kantare vessel was discovered by Enterprise on a barren planet. Stranded for over twenty years following an ion storm, there were only two survivors, the engineer Ezral and his daughter Liana. Unable to repair the ship alone, Ezral had created a holographic crew to help combat the loneliness of their exile. The holograms became their friends and family. Captain Archer offered aid to get the vessel spacebourne again so that the Kanatare could return home.The Kantare have a colony on Kotata Barath from where the vessel was originally travelling..
