History:
The Osaarians were a space-faring humanoid species, dark-haired with a ridged forehead and cheek markings. According to the Vulcan database they have a large merchant fleet with no record of piracy. Nevertheless, while temporarily disabled in the Delphic Expanse by spatial anomalies, Enterprise was boarded by Osaarian pirates. A captured pirate claimed his people were forced to become predators when the anomalies damaged their vessels trapping them in the Expanse. Enterprise managed to track the Osaarian vessel and lure it into the cloaking field of a mysterious sphere, whether they downloaded a Xindi database from the pirates. The Osaarian pirate ship was large with a hull composed of Poly-duranium and coated with Trellium D to withstand the effects of the anomalies.
