History:
A light shuttle situated in the aft cargo bay of the Jovis that was apparently used only in emergency situations. Similar in size and exterior design to a Starfleet type-15 shuttlepod, it was about 3.5 metres in length. It had an angular cabin with a circular stern structure, where an octagonal entry hatch was located. Large viewports at the fore and on the flanks were used for visual navigation. Propulsion nacelles were mounted at either side, although it was probably only capable of impulse power. The vessel automatically emitted a distress signal on launch.
When Varria and Data attempted to use the pod to flee captivity on the Jovis, they were hoping to be rescued before Kivas Fajo could destroy them.
